Colophon

Back in 2000, I made a minor career change within IT and started a new job in Philadelphia as a Web developer. In order to get some practice at my new line of work, I developed the first version of this website in my spare time and launched it on Mar. 1, 2001. The site has been redesigned several times over the years, and the latest version was completed in October 2014 and updated in December 2014.

This site is completely hand-coded and is comprised of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. I edit the content using a plain-text editor, Sublime Text 2, and test them using W3C validators for both markup and stylesheets.

Here are the typefaces that you’ll find on this site:

The repeating background image, Escheresque, was designed by Jan Meeus and is available from Subtle Patterns. Unless otherwise credited, I’ve created all of the photos and images throughout the site, and I edit them using Adobe Photoshop. I built the site’s favicon with favicon.cc, a terrific online tool.

Hosting for this site is provided by Hostway. I highly recommended them.

Feedback and suggestions are always welcome. Thanks again for visiting!
